setting up terminal services

i currently have a low end machine running windows 2000, and i wish to remotely administer it from my windows xp pro machine. can i set up remote desktop connectio to connect in this method? or do i have to install windows 2000 server on my server first? i am very confused

You cannot remotely administer Windows 2000 with Terminal
Server. Windows 2000 can only be a client.

Install VNC freeware for remote admin you can find it by searching for it. If you dont mind paying a little Dameware Mini Remote is also a good remote admin tool on those systems that do not natively have Terminal services
