Setting up Term Services on W2K Advanced Server

Hi,

We are looking for a "How to" on setting up terminal services on a Windows 2000 advanced server server. We are looking to perform admin tasks via the terminal services from our desktop PC's which are XP pro, and Windows 2000 based.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Go into add/remove programs and then add/remove windows
components on your terminal server. Then click on the
check box next to terminal services, and when you finish
the install, be sure to make terminal services work in
remote admin mode. After the install, you should just be
able to connect to the server using your RDP client on
your Windows XP or 2000 machines.

This might be good starting points:

Microsofts Terminal Services Community Center
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/community/centers/terminal/

Windows 2000 Technologies : Terminal Services
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/technologies/terminal/default
..asp

But basically, what you want is very simple: install terminal
services (Add/Remove programs - Add Windows Component - Terminal
Services), choose "Remote Administration mode". That's it.

You get a maximum of 2 concurrent connections, by default only
allowed for Administrators. No TS Licensing needed.
Install the latest rdp client on the PCs:
