SETTING UP REMOTE ASSISTANCE

I need 2 offer remote assistance 2 a friend of mine. Am I able 2 do it from
my home PC?
 
I tried that, but it doesn't connect when my friend invites me 4 remote
assistance. I put in her IP address and it doesn't work.
