I would like to setup remote assistance in XP.
When you go into help and support centre and selecte offer remote assistance
i want to enter in the ip address of the machine and remote manage the
machine. However i am unable to do so.
i am the in the domain admins group, i have allowed that group access in
gpedit.msc under remote assistance
I can RDP the machine however.
Can someone please point me in the correct direction to setup the work
stations.

Offering remote assistance is usually only viable in a domain environment.
Otherwise you cannot *offer* remote assistance. The person on the remote
end could request (via email, Messenger, etc) remote assistance and you
could use that invitation to accept and carry out the request.
