setting up mail

I am trying to set up my mail but having difficulty doing so. I have
received one email but am unable to send

Your email account provider has that information.
They should have a help page on their website.
If you tell us who provides your email account, perhaps someone can assist
you.

"Unable to send" implies that you probably get an error message when you try.
If so, right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
