Setting up both Pop3 and exchange accounts in outlook

We have set up a client with Exchange server (remote hosted) and we have
emailed the client with a config file so that he can automatically set this
account up.

The problem we have is that he wants to check his personal BT email pop3
account using Outlook as well as checking the exchange account. Further more
he wants to filter all his personal Pop3 email into a separate folder.

How do you do this?

That would depend on the Outlook version. In general you can simply add the
additional account through Tools-> E-mail Accounts and move the message
received by that account to a different folder by using rules.
