pop3 and exchange server

Hello,

Our outlook has pop3 and exchange accounts.

i.e.
pop3 is (e-mail address removed)
exchange is (e-mail address removed)
Outlook use default smtp(not exchange server) to send e-mail.
But sometimes outlook use exchange server to send e-mail. (we don't know why.)
So the custom can not reply e-mail to (e-mail address removed)

Then we change exchange server e-mail setting from (e-mail address removed) to
(e-mail address removed)
Look like everything is ok. No matter you use smtp or exchange server to
send e-mail. The customer can reply the e-mail correctly.

But one thing is, when Steve is out of town, he can not use web mail to
review any e-mail from his co-works. All inside company e-mails use exchange
server go to his outlook. Even we type to:[email protected], this e-mail go to
his pc directly, did not go to our web hosting.

We just need either one can work.

Thanks

Set up your Exchange server to do the SMTP relaying and send and receive
everything through Exchange. Since this is an Exchange question, then, ask
in news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.exchange.admin
