Setting up a trust

I am having difficulty setting up a trust over a VPN. I
have a domain.int and a domain.co.uk that I want to set
up a trust between using Server 2000. However, I can't
seem to find any step-by-step guides on the net. Can
anyone help me out? I think my main problem is working
out how to configure the DNS but all and any help would
be appreciated.

It is my understanding that nebios name resolution is also important in setting
up trusts between forests. Therefore you will want to configure wins servers to
replicated between to forests or use lmhosts files on the PDC fsmo domain
controllers [maybe all domain controllers] I believe. You will probably want dns
name resolution also in which case if the dns servers in each domain can also be
secondary dns servers for the other domain. You may also want to post in the
win2000.active_directory newsgroup for more specifics. --- Steve
