I recently got a new computer and was trying to setup a graphics card that was in my old computer. I lost the original CD containing the driver so I went on the internet and downloaded another driver. But when I try to run th setup in safe mode(with the graphics card in the PCI port) I get two error messages:

INF Error
Video Driver not found

Then:

Setup was unable to complete the installation.
Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup.

How can I fix this?

It's a Microsoft 2000 Professional SP3(?) and the graphics card is a VisionTek XTASY 9200SE but it doesn't matter anymore... I just installed SP4 and now I can't log in without my computer restarting even in safe mode...
