Setting Program Access & Defaults

R

Ray

I am new to Window's XP. I am trying to use the "Set
Program Access & Defaults" function to set the computer
to the Window's default (MS Internet Explorer, Outlook
Express, etc.). I select the Window's setting option and
the defaults are loaded, and I click "OK". When I go back
to check if the changes are made, the box shows "Custom"
settings have been selected. The problem, then, is I
can't get rid of the "Custom" settings no matter what,
even though I did not make them.

Thanks for your help.

Do you use a different media player than WMP *or* MSN Messenger instead of
Windows Messenger? Either of these will cause Custom settings to be
selected.
