I've been unsuccessful trying to set OE as the default email through the
Control Panel / Add or Remove / Set Program Access and Defaults route. When
I attmept to send photos through the My Pictures functions, Office Outlook
always loads as the email program. Our address book is in OE. Can anyone
assist?

So undo it in OE and tick where it says to check to see if it's the
default email program. Open OE and when it asks you if you want it to be
the default, click Yes.

That said, why are you using OE when you have Outlook!?

Outlook ASSUMES the default position.

To change it:
open IE , click :
- Tools
- Internet Options
- PROPERTIES
- PROGRAMS
- EMAIL : and choose OE as your default.

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/defaultl.htm

Go to Start | Run and type this command, with the double quotes and spaces:

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

and then make sure that OE is selected as the default mail program in both
IE and OE.

If that isn't enough, see this article:

you can go to control panel/internet options/then in the email field pick
the email program you want to use as the default program. Or, go to control
panel/add remove programs/ after they come up select add remove windows
components/ then select (check) the outlook express box. either will do the
same job
