Setting 'File, Save As' box to display as 'Details'

When I use Explorer, I have set the windows to always display as 'Details'
rather than the default 'Icons' view because it's easier to use and more
useful.

The Explorer window called by other programs (such as File, Save) doesn't
reflect this preference and always displays as the default view. I can
change this, but the change isn't saved.

How can I change this default setting to display as Details or List by
default?

Hi,

To set the details view as default, open one instance of Windows Explorer
and set it the way you want. Then click tools/folder options and on the view
tab click "apply to all folders". This will set this view as default.

I've already done that, Nick. Normal Explorer windows reflect this change.

The Explorer window called by other programs (such as File, Save) doesn't
reflect this preference and always displays as the default view. I can
change this, but the change isn't saved the next time this box is called.
