I have setup a satellite internet connection on my machine and I am trying to
share it out to another computer I have connected via the Ethernet port with
a cross over cable. I have activated Internet Connection Sharing on my
Adapter for the satellite internet connection and I can see the gateway for
the Satellite internet connection on the other machine but I cannot get
internet explorer to access the internet. I can share folders between the two
computers fine. Can some body please help me?

Thanks in advance.

Since I posted the bellow I have sort of got it to work. I have given them
static IP's and made the client's Default Gateway the Comp WIht the internet
connection. I also have add a DNS server address for the client it is just
the address for my ISP's DNS server. I can now access a few web site from my
client machine but not all and then some time none. Can anybody please
explain this for me????

I have this type of setup too - works well between my XP Pro box (with
satellite) and my Win2K box - the 2K box uses fixed lan addressing with DNS
server addresses pointing to the XP box. ICS can be switched between phone
direct and phone/satellite - if you are using XP with SP2 check your
firewall settings - I turned mine off and alloed ZA Pro to do the business.

This site explains all and of all the options this has worked correctly.
