Set-up

I installed this and it ran fine until it expired on July
31, 2005. I installed it again, but when I go through the
set-up screens, nothing "takes". Especially the
scheduled scan, I put in a daily time, check what I want
done, and click Save. It tells me it has saved my
choices, then the screen goes back to the way it came up
with no scan scheduled, and "Do not show scan results" as
the only item checked (One I do not even want). It will
NOT save and run a scheduled scan. Every time I get the
set-up screen again. Can anyone please take the time to
help me? Thank you so much.

Is your current version 1.0.615?

If not, I would recommend downloading again from Microsoft, via:

http://www.microsoft.com/spyware/software

Then, I would uninstall the current version.

Following the uninstall, delete the installation folder, typically
c:\program files\microsoft antispyware, and all subfolders of it. You will
lose any recorded settings, preferences, and access to quarantined items.

Then reinstall, signed in as the administrator level user who will
customarily be using the product.
