I have set up my email using the pop address from Cox. The only emails that
I am receiving in the Windows mail is mail that is forwarded to my cox
account from another business email that I have. I know this is the case
because I have my old Outlook Express opened on another computer and can see
emails delivered there, but, not in the Windows mail.

Thank you. Lou Ann

By default, POP email programs delete the email on the server after
downloading.
If you want to get the mail on more than one computer, you need to set all
email programs to Leave Messages on the server.
Tools -Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced
[x] Leave a copy of messages on server
[x] Remove from server after xx days

Thank you. I checked those boxes when I was setting up the mail. It's
strange that the only emails being delivered are the ones that are forwarded
to Outlook Express from a web based email business account. Anything else
I could do?

Would the port numbers have anything to do with this? I used the same
numbers as in my Outlook express 25 and 110.

Did you do it on all computers?

Try 587 and 110. last week I had problems, called my provider and they said
they had 5 calls that day for the same thing, ( e-mail issues) Their theory
was that windows sent out and auto update and the update chaged everyones'
settings. We st the 25 back to 587 and awy we went. ( comcast is my provider)
