"Set as Desktop Item"

I mistakenly clicked on this direction while copying a
web page drawing. Now it's on my desktop and I can't get
it off. What can I do? Any help is appreciated. Email
to (e-mail address removed), please.
 
click control panel
click display properties
click desktop tab
make desired changes.
