Session ID

When connecting to a Terminal Server, you get a session ID. Does this id has
to increase for every new connection, or can id's be re-used? Where is this
ID being used for?

session-IDs are automatically generated and reset to 0 with a reboot
of the server. You cannot change the session-ID yourself.
