Services terminate unexpectedly

I am using Windows XP Pro SP2. A few weeks ago, everytime I reboot, several
Services appear in the Event Viewer as "terminated unexpectedly". These are
the DHCP Client, Windows Audio, Workstation, Task Scheduler, Shell Hardware
Detection, Themes and Wireless Zero Configuration. Other Services look like
they were never even started, like the Server, System Restore, Security
Center, Automatic Updates, and Windows Firewall/ICS Services, to name a few.
As such, I have to go into the Administrative Tools | Services window and
manually start these and other "Automatic" Services to allow me to connect to
my LAN, the Internet and remote shared drives, and to get other tasks going,
as well.

I do not know if these are related, but when I began seeing this problem, I
also stopped getting audio from my speakers, except for the default System
Beep--my motherboard has an on-board RealTek AC97 audio controller that the
Device Manager appears to "see" with no problems. I have a TV tuner card and
the audio on that seems to work. Also, other computers no longer see my
shared drives and printers, even if I see theirs and my Server Service is
started.

I am using an ABIT IS7-G motherboard with a 3.06 GHz Celeron processor. It
has two 80 GB SATA drives in a RAID array and one 120 GB IDE as drive C. I
assembled the computer over a year ago and am just now seeing these problems.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
