Services running on local machine

Hi,

I would like to modify the path of some Services running on my local
machine. What are the steps to edit and/or change the "Path to
executable"field in some Services Properties box. Please advise. Thanks!

You can accomplish that by editing the Registry:

Note: Please make a backup of your whole registry before following these
steps.

Open Start, Run, type without quotation marks "regedit" and click OK.
Navigate to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\service (where
"service" is the short name of the service you want to edit). Then modify
accordingly the value "ImagePath", placed on the right pane of Registry
Editor window.
