Changing executable path

Hi,

I would like to modify the path of some Services running on my local
machine. What are the steps to edit and/or change the "Path to
executable"field in some Services Properties box. Please advise. Thanks!

I have not tried this myself but what you could try is to change the value
data for the image path in the registry for that service but don't start
that with a critical system service. Logon as an administrator, use regedit
to open the registry and go to HKLM/system/currentcontrolset/services and
find the service as shown by the "service name" when you view properties in
services.msc and not the display name. --- Steve
