Services For UNIX 3.5 NFS Sharing tab doesn't show

I installed the SFU 3.5 on a Win XP Pro with Sp1 . Entirely
legal copy and all. All Windows updates up to yesterday
evening have been applied.

Lots of stuff from SFU seems to work, but not NFS server
services!

I cannot find a way to NFS export a directory.

The SFU help files talk about a new tab appearing under
Properties for rightclicking on an object. Supposedly
a new tab, NFS Sharing. No such tab appears.

Can this setup work?

Is there an obvious mistake I must have made?

Is there something I can do to troubleshoot the problem?

Or maybe someone could describe what conditions must
applyfor Win XP Explorer to display the new NFS Sharing Tab?

Make sure you have turned of simple file sharing (explorer settings)

Then also make sure that you actually installee NFS Server and Server
for NFS Authentication, they are not included in the standard install.
you have tyo use the custom install

Did you actually mean "Turned OFF" simple sharing?

And yes, of course I installed NFS server and auth server.

SFU appears under Admin tools, and NFS server appears under
SFU in there. So yes, I did install it?

Trouble was I had no idea there was an enabling step for
running services under XP, or at least no idea where it was.

Fix: I went to Administrative tools
-> services
-> Server for NFS
double click, change "disabled" to manual (or automatic, I
suppose)

And then the Services for Unix->Server for NFS would start
after right-click and Start.

Same fix for name mapping.
