Services Disabled

For information, my problem of the last few days seems to have been down to
Norton, although why it should suddenly go berserk is a mystery. Anyway,
after sorting out the services manually and upgrading Norton everything
looks to be back to normal. The ADSL thing must have been a red herring,
probably because Norton responded to it in an inappropriate way and screwed
up the whole works.
