SERVICEPACK2 PUTS MONITOR ON STANDBY

Clean re-install WinXPHome Installed Service Pack2 immediately. Now every
Boot turns Monitor[Iiyama] to standby before desk top appears. Cant work from
black screen. Can turn off Computer with keystrokes.Can Boot to Safe Mode.
Power settings all set to ON. Help!

Yes Power settings set to Never
 
Do you have an NVidia Graphics card. Perhaps try latest drivers?

Yes Power settings set to Never
 
Have you tried getting the latest driver from Iiyama. I have 2 Iiyama
monitors so know they provide there own drivers. Don't know if it will help
but you never know.
