Hi Chris,

SP1a is the only service pack released for WinXP. SP2 is not even in beta
(testing) form yet. SP3 does not exist.

Are you looking perhaps at Win2000 service packs?

Hi!Chris!
Service Pack is "A software upgrade to an existing software distribution
that contains updated files consisting of patches and hot fixes."
[Microsoft]

Another:-
Service packs are the means by which Windows product updates are
distributed. Service packs keep the product current, and extend and
update your computer's functionality. Service packs include updates,
system administration tools, drivers, and additional components. Service
packs are cumulative -- each new service pack contains all the fixes in
previous service packs, as well as any new fixes.
