Arno,

Gruess Dich!

Apparently there have been a few posts where people have applied OFFXP SP3
and this resulted in problems for them. However, I believe that there are
some fixes for this already. Sorry that I do not have more details. I am
sure that Patrick or Vera or Matthew or someone else will have a better
detailed answer. I would suggest that you try to setup a test environment
that mimics your production environment and test it.

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with any SP3 issues for Office XP, as I migrated to Office System 2003 when it was released. At that time SP2 was the current build and worked fine

I would only roll out a SP in a new server build or to fix a specific problem on a current installation, but only after testing on a lab machine an/or after making a good backup that you can quickly restore from

After testing you can update your Administrative Installation Point then recache the client installation (the install on the TS

Patrick,

It looks like Office XP SP3 just came out about one week ago! I seem to
recall a couple of posts about Office XP SP3 causing problems with Terminal
Servers. I will have to go back and find them.

Anyway, agree with everything that you wrote!

Have fun in sunny So Cal!
