Service Pack 3 RC1

S

SP3

Downloaded and installed Service Pack 3 RC1 today, here is a bug to
fix!!!!!!!!!
Up until my recent installation of the SP I have never had pop ups with
Internet Explorer, now all of the sudden I do, so put two and two together,
and SP3 is now annoying me with popups!!!!!

Don't load an RC version of a software release unless
you're prepared to put up with bugs. Why did you do it?

Wrong group for your report. Note that nobody here is really interested
in your experience with *unfinished* software.

Microsoft has employees reading this group and would no doubt be
reading comments that people are making on SP3 RC1.

I am not sure where you get that idea.
These are peer to peer newsgroups and there is no expectation or
requirement that Microsoft read any post.
Sometimes Microsoft employees are here, but then they do so on their
own time.
Further, there is no guarantee that if a Microsoft employee sees the
message, he is in the appropriate Product Group or will relay the
message.

Since there is a specific forum for SP-3 issues, that mostly makes it
off topic here.

True. I have had Microsoft employees "follow-up" on posts I've made if
there was an error in them.

There is no doubt that Microsoft employees drop in from time to time,
however, that's not the point. The point is that any postings concerning
SP3 RC are off topic here and even if an MS employee would read them,
there is absolutely no guarantee that messages will be forwarded to the
appropriate program group - see also the posted link and Jupiter Jone's
reply.

Point being, you post is only your personal opinion and you can not
presume to speak for every person that checks this group.

What part did you fail to comprehend?
