I appreciate your posting. I just OK'd the update on my computer, when I
went to restart, it will only start in Safe Mode. I sent an email to
Windows
help and should hear back in 24 hours. From this discussion group, I see
it
may be my Norton 2008, I am wondering if I should use the Norton fix or
wait
for a reply from Windows help team.
You should turn off any AV software before you try to install SP3. For that
reason, I ordered the CD. I turned off the internet and disabled my AV.
Neither of my systems had troubles installing SP3.
