Service Pack 2

Is there any word on when the service pack 2 is coming out for XPE?

If I install the tech preview, will it be troublesome to install the
official service pack 2 later on?

You can install SP2 Tech Preview version now. When you later install SP2
RTM, you will get instructions during setup on how to install RTM version if
you already have installed previous version of SP2 (Beta/RC/Tech Preview).
The instructions explains how to remove existing version of SP2 before
continuing installation. Alternatively, you can always take the backup of
your existing SP1 database before you install SP2 Tech Preview and you can
always restore it later before installing RTM version.

Official word from Microsoft is end of this year!

I'd say going by past experience from using other Microsoft products
installing the official service pack 2 later on wouldn't be too bad!
