Service Pack 2

Just a day ago I installled SP2 and when I restarted my computer, the
desktop was empty or blank.
Has anyone heard of or experienced such a thing?
How was this problem resolved by you?

Try this if you can you access Task Manager - go to File>New Task (Run...)
and type in

explorer
