Service Pack 2

I installed Service Pack 2 on my daughter's PC with Windows XP. She can't
sign on to Hotmail. She gets a Javascript error. The message suggests
downloading Javascript 6. However, it can't be downloaded because she has a
newer version. How can we get her back into Hotmail?
