For some reason, I can't download XP Service Pack 2 from Windows Update, but
I already have it installed on anotehr computer opn my Home Network. Can I
copy the files from C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles to the new computer and then
install it from there?

and once i have transeferred them, are these files ok to delete from my hard
drive?

Thanks a lot for the help.

No. Download SP2 directly.

You can pick up the update CD at most major PC retaillers

This will save you around 300Mb of downloads and you then have the CD for
future use should you need to reinstall SP2.
