Service Pack 2 prob after

I have Xp-Pro whn i install SP2, after reboot OS fails to
boot , not able to restore , not able to start in last
known good conf , & even in safe mode . stops at
windows\system32\drives\Mup.sys.
I require to format the drive & install fresh copy of XP.
previously it was giving error for AGP440.sys then i
removed AGP card & installed but now giving error for
above mentioned file i.e mup.sys
