Hi,

I don't know too much about computers. My computer was running fine until I
installed Service Pack 2. Now, when I start it I get a fatal error which
says I have a "Bad Header". I can still start up the computer in Safe Mode
with really limited capabilities. When I try the option to "Start Computer
with same setup as last good start", windows still fails. If anyone can give
me details on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

There are parameter numbers that go with that error message. Post those.

Try uninstalling SP2 in Safe Mode. If that don't fix it, then something got
trashed. You can try booting the installl cd and running repair.
If that don't work, wipe the disk and reformat and reload.
Get someone to slipstream SP2 into your XP install, then you can install
everything all at once.
