service pack 2.2

I just downloaded service pack 2.2 as recomended.
My Internet access is now between 7 and 400 times slower.
How do I get rid of this service pack or fix it?

Haven't heard about service pack 2.2 - is that some new version of service
pack 2?

Contact your ISP for suggestions.

"service pack 2.2"?
For what?
There is no such thing for windows XP.

Go to Add/Remove Programs and if you mean Service Pack 2, it is there,
just double click it and follow the prompts.
 
After downloading SP2 you should defrag and clear cache (Start/Control
Panel/Perf. and Maint./"Free up space...". Also after a few days.
Windows will spring clean the installation of SP2 anyway.
