service pack

Since downloading the microsoft windows XP service pack my
computer has been working much slower and occassionally
crashes. Does anyone know how to remove the service pack
or else how to improve the speed of my computer. I
defragmented all the drives already numerous times so it
can't be that. please help.

If you selected Archive Data or whatever it said while loading the SP, you
should be able to go to add/remove programs and unstall it and return to the
way your PC was.

To uninstall SP 1, go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and
look for "Service Pack 1"
However you should not remove SP 1 unless you also desire to remove
fixes it provides.
