Service Pack 1

If I do run|winver on my Vista Business laptop, I get a window indicating
that I have Version 6 (Build 6001) of Windows, with Service Pack 1.

However, if I open Control Panel | Programs & Features | Installed Updates,
I see no Windows Service Pack 1 listed (although there is an Office 2007 SP1
listed).

So what gives - do I have Windows SP1 or not? The laptop is at least 12
months old, so it certainly did not come with SP1 pre-installed. So i
suspect it happened during automatic Windows update.

Anyway, my question is how do I uninstall Windows SP1 (especially since it
does not show under the 'Installed Updates' list) and are there any adverse
consequences for doing so?

It is listed simply as Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (IKB936330)

Thanks, found it!

Now, what nuclear reaction will I trigger if I were to remove Windows SP1?
Can it be re-installed with a minimum of fuss, if need be at a later date?
