Service pack 1

when attempting to install service pack 1 after
reformating and reinstalling windows XP i keep geeting an
error saying that another application is using atapi.sys
but the only thing open is my graphics card drivers.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem id reallt
appreciate it if you cold tell me how to do it.
