Service Control Manager Errors

I am receiving the following errors on my Win2K Pro box.

Event Source: Server
Event ID: 2508
Description: The server service was unable to load the
server driver

Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event ID: 7023
Description: The Server Service terminated with the
following error: The System cannot find the file
specified.

Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event ID: 7001
Description: The Computer Browser service depends on the
Server Service which failed to start because of the
following error: The system cannot find the file
specified.

I am using this in a workgroup, not a domain. The problem
first showed up when a bad block was detected. I correct
the bad block problem. Other computers can not access any
resources on this computer as a result of these errors.
Is there anything that can be done to fix the problem
other than a reinstall?

Is it fully patched?

It does not have SP4 yet. I am in the process of testing
it right now.

Testing? Do you at least have the ms03-039 patch installed?
