Server wont reboot just hangs

I have a Compaq ML350 G3 Windows 2000 server running
excahnge 2k and all of a sudden when i do a reboot windows
starts to shutdown but only gets to a black screen and i
see a blinking cursur, I have to shut the system down by
pressing the power button. I updated the bios and install
all the lastest patches except SP4. Any suggestions on how
to resolve this restart issue.
