We would like to collect various server utilization stats
and print reports describing such items as number of user
connections, cpu utilization statistics over weekly
periods, etc. General management reports. I have tried
to use the Windows Perfmon for reports and have found it
very difficult to use for long term reporting over
multiple servers. It may be fine for real-time
troubleshooting, but as a reporting and data collection
tool it really sucks. All our servers are Win2K and we do
not plan to go to XP any time soon. As yet, active
directory is also not used. Would any of you folks out
there have recommendations for third-party or MS tools
that you like for such purposes?
