Server Setting for Microsoft Mail

I checked several post and answers, which are very helpful for most subjects,
but have not seen any specific number for outgoing and incoming mail. The
numbers in my set up box under accounts are 465 out and 995 in. Neither
works. i have tried defaults and other numbers but cannot send or receive
email. Appreciate inupt.

att/yahoo. I checked with them but they didn't even know what ms mail was.
They were familiar with ol and ole but ms mail threw them. They said check
back with ms!

Windows Mail cannot access webmail accounts.
However, it appears from
http://help.yahoo.com/sbc/tutorials/mail/mail_access4.html
that you can enable POP access, which can be accessed with WM.

If they don't have instructions for WM, then use the one for Outlook
Express, as the settings are nearly identical.

Dave, thanks. I had been to that yahoo tutorial before and it says the same
settings / 465 and 995, which are not working for me. I have not used
outlook or outlook express before. I'll look for those settings.

You are probably overlooking the SSL option, which has to be enabled.
If you get an error message, copy the complete error message and post
it here.
