Server Optimization with "maximum data troughput for network applications"

Mike

With Windows NT 4.0 Server we used the option "optimize for network
applications" in File and Printer Sharing Properties for getting out
the most for the MAC clients.

Does this also apply to Windows 2000 SBS Server and Windows 2003 SBS
Server ?

We also have some PC clients attached and use Exchange...

Tnx in advance,

Mike

Hi Mike!

I don't recall this wording for 2000 and 2003, but you can optimize server
performance by right-clicking on My Computer --> Properties --> Advanced tab
--> Performance --> Settings --> Advanced tab.

Hope this helps! bill
