I have some Mac (Leopard) clients on the predominantly Windows 2003
network and want to set up a network share so that Mac users can
maintain a single shared iPhoto library. The Macs are configured for
smb access to server shares and have no problem accessing updating
these
I've set up the Windows share (let's call it \\server01\iPhoto$) and
everyone in the publishers group has read/write access
I start iPhoto with OPT-iPhoto and, when I choose to search for the
iPhoto library, I try to get to smb://server01/iPhoto$ but iPhoto
just
sits there. I also tried "defaults write com.apple.iPhoto
RootDirectory smb://server01/iPhoto$" but that also failed to work
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance... Peter
