server not in browser list

Hi,

I have a windows 2000 server and it will not appear in
network neighborhood. I am sharing a folder on it and the
only way I can browse to that folder across the network
is by typing at the run prompt \\servername\sharename. Is
there a way that I can get the server to show up in
network neighborhood. Thank you.

Are you in a domain or a workgroup? If you are in a workgroup, you need to
make sure the server and the client are both in the same workgroup. I am not
sure about a domain, but I think that the same holds true.
