'server not found' & 'unable to locate component'

spyware scan found two threats, webhancer spyware and
searchsquire adware. Sporder.dll was the infected file
file in webhancer. After removal, IE settings were
reset. Following the reset IE would not connect, giving
the server not found error. MSN browser was still up and
running. Following a restart error messages specifying
unable to locate component (sporder.dll) appear. Unable
to access internet with that machine now.

Create a directory on your hardrive, to save HijackThis.exe, called
c:\hijackthis. This is a mandatory step, for the backup and restore
functions, of HijackThis, to be able to work.
