'server busy' box

HI,

Whenever I boot up my notebook (running windows XP SP1)I
keep getting a window pop up saying 'server busy'
and 'switch task' or 'retry'.

I've searched the technical database and found several
articles, but they are all specific to carrying out some
particular activity - which doesn't apply to this case,
as I'm not doing anything !

Clearly it is some system activity which is causing it -
can you help please ?

scan your system with latest virus definitioned antivirus/adaware/spybot
search and destroy in safe mode.
