serious error

hi,i just recently installed broadband on my pc and at
night when i have left my pc on downloading i have
returned in the morning to find that my pc has reboot and
the following message is on screen...the system has
recovered from a serious problem..any advice much
appreciated thanx.
 
We need more information. Open an internet
connection.Then open up event viewer. Select application
or system. Check for red or yellow colored events that
correspond to the time of this error. Select microsoft
link and reply yes. That will open microsoft help and
support on that issue. If need be you can post that
message this newsgroup by the dcocument icon(below up &
down) That copies the message to the desktop, You can
paste it here and have it interpreted.
