'Serious Error' after installing windows xp

I have installed windows xp and it wont load. The computer boots up but
when it reaches the usual XP startup a serious error message appears on
a blue screen. I need help and do not know what 2 do. please help me?

I'm sorry, but this isn't enough information for us to help you. All
you've basically told us is "it's broken". We need the details of your
computer, whether it ever ran XP before, how you installed, and the
exact text of the Stop Error.

Have you run system compatibility check first, just in case, you should have
the option on your disc
