Serial Device Problem at reboot!

Hello.

I have a serial barcode scanner attached to my computer via com1.
The scanner works fine after activating it in the accessibility options
as a SerialKey device and scans ok.

When I reboot the scanner stops working.
In order to get the scanner to work again I need to access the
Accessibility Options. I dont change any settings, just cancel the
window and the scanner starts working again.

I have seen post about this in the past but with no sollution.

A bar code scanner is not really compatible with SerialKeys. It may
work for some of the bar codes that you scan however you will almost
certainly run into a problem sooner or later.
A beter solution would be to use a "Software Wedge" type of program
instead. A very good one called BCWedge is available at the following
