Hi,
MS REPS PLEASE RESPOND!
I use a serial barcode scanner with my XP Embedded SP2 product.
(I just discovered that this is also a problem with FULL XP!!)
My problem is that the "SerialKey service" will not automatically start
upon startup if I have the Autologin component included in my build. If
I remove the autologin component the "SerialKey service" starts upon
login and the scanner works fine. With Autologin enabled I need to
manually open the "Accessibility
Options" in the control panel in order to get the barcode scanner to
work.
If I halt the autologon with the SHIFT key, and manually logon with the
same credentials, SerialKeys works every time.
I have seen this problem at many places on the net/newsgroups. Can MS
please react on this and give med some guidelines or sollutions?
Bellow you will find links to the same problem as I are experiencing.
